Terms of service
Your agreement for WATeamInbox Cloud
These terms cover the hosted WATeamInbox Cloud service: your account, your team's use of a workspace, what you may and may not do with it, how plans are billed, and what happens if something goes wrong. The privacy policy explains how personal information is handled and forms part of this agreement.

01 / the agreement
Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and YGNCodeLab LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. They apply to the hosted WATeamInbox Cloud service at app.wateaminbox.com, the public website, your account, and your subscription. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean YGNCodeLab LLC.
By creating an account, starting a trial, or paying for a plan, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, client, or other organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that organisation.
These terms do not cover a self-hosted WATeamInbox installation. If you install and run the open-source application yourself, you are the operator of that installation, these terms do not apply to it, and you are responsible for service levels, data handling, and support for the people who use it. The MIT licence governs that code.
Cloud is in beta. We describe its current limits candidly, and the service may change as it develops.
02 / accounts and workspaces
Your account and your team
You need an email address that belongs to you, accurate account details, and the legal ability to enter into a contract with us. Do not share your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, so keep your password and sessions secure.
Workspace owners and administrators decide who joins a workspace and what each member can access. Only invite people who are authorised to see that workspace's WhatsApp conversations and customer information, and remove access when someone no longer needs it.
If you own or administer a workspace, you are also responsible for making sure your teammates follow these terms. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us at [email protected] promptly.
03 / acceptable use
What you may do with Cloud
WATeamInbox is built for teams answering real customer conversations. Use it for that, and avoid the following:
- Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, or use the service in a way that breaks WhatsApp's terms and messaging policies, or anti-spam, telemarketing, or privacy law that applies to you.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful activity, or to distribute malware or prohibited content.
- Do not try to reach another workspace's data, bypass plan limits, add-on ceilings, or connection quotas, or interfere with the service for anyone else.
- Do not resell Cloud, or offer it to third parties as your own product, without a separate written agreement with us.
- Do not use our name or marks in a way that suggests a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement that does not exist.
Plan limits, add-on ceilings, and connection quotas are part of the service rather than obstacles to route around. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe your use puts the service, other customers, or third parties at risk. The suspension and termination section explains how that works.
04 / whatsapp and meta
WhatsApp is a separate service we do not control
WATeamInbox is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. You need the right to connect the phone number you connect, and the right to handle the conversations and contact information in it.
WhatsApp can change its rules, technical access, or enforcement practices at any time, and it can restrict or ban an account. Those decisions are outside our control, and we are not responsible for what WhatsApp does with your number or account.
Message delivery also depends on WhatsApp and network conditions. We cannot guarantee that a message is delivered, that delivery receipts are accurate, or that a connection stays available.
We rely on other providers to run Cloud, including the hosting, storage, email, analytics, and payment providers named in the privacy policy.
05 / plans, billing, and renewal
How plans are billed
Current plans, prices, and add-on rates are published on the pricing page. Plans are prepaid one month at a time in US dollars, and each paid workspace renews on its monthly billing date until the subscription is cancelled. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Add-ons for extra connections, teammate seats, and media storage are billed monthly at the published rate. Capacity you add becomes available after payment is confirmed; an unpaid addition does not take effect.
Stripe processes payments and stores payment card details. We do not receive or store full card numbers. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges for the plan and add-ons you select until you cancel.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and notify the billing email address on the account. If the payment stays unresolved, we may suspend or cancel the workspace's Cloud service. You are responsible for keeping your billing details accurate and for taxes other than our income taxes.
The number of connections, teammates, and media storage available to a workspace is set by its plan and add-ons, as shown on the pricing page and in the application.
06 / refunds and cancellation
Prepaid monthly, with no partial refunds
Every Cloud plan is billed one month at a time, in advance. There is no long-term commitment, and there are no partial refunds or prorated credits for the part of a month you do not use.
- Cancelling a subscription stops the next renewal. Deleting a workspace cancels that workspace's subscription at the same time. Billing stops and the workspace is no longer served, but the remaining days of the current month are not refunded or credited.
- Upgrades and added capacity take effect after payment. Removing an add-on or moving to a lower plan takes effect at the next renewal, and the current month stays as billed.
- Payments are not refundable, except for duplicate charges, billing errors, and refunds that applicable consumer law requires.
For a billing correction, email [email protected] from the account address. If we end your access because you breached these terms, the current prepaid month is not refunded.
07 / free trial
Evaluating Cloud before you pay
Each account includes one 7-day Starter trial workspace, and no card is required to start it. Additional workspaces require a paid plan.
A WhatsApp number that has already been used in a free trial cannot be used for another free trial. Trial workspaces are for evaluating the product rather than for running production support. We may change or withdraw trial availability to prevent abuse.
08 / your content and our software
Who owns what
You keep ownership of the conversations, contacts, notes, media, and settings in your workspace. We claim no ownership of that content. You give us the permission we need to host, process, transmit, back up, and support it so we can run the Cloud service, as described in the privacy policy.
The Cloud software, the website, and the WATeamInbox name and design belong to YGNCodeLab LLC. These terms give you the right to use the hosted service, not to copy, resell, or rebrand it.
The open-source edition is licensed separately under the MIT licence. Those terms govern code you run yourself, not the Cloud service.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the product without any obligation to you.
09 / availability and support
What we do and do not promise
We do not promise an uptime percentage or a service-level agreement. Cloud runs on a single-host deployment, so maintenance, upgrades, and provider incidents can interrupt the service. We aim to keep those interruptions short and to record notable changes in the changelog.
Support is best effort. You can reach us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp, but we do not guarantee a response time.
Cloud is a beta product, so features can be added, changed, or withdrawn. If a change removes something you rely on, you can cancel and stop paying at the next renewal.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot lose. Export the records you need, and keep your own backups of information that matters to your business.
10 / suspension and termination
Ending your access, and ending your subscription
You can stop using Cloud at any time by cancelling a subscription or deleting a workspace.
We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, if a payment stays unresolved, if the law requires it, or if your use seriously risks the service, other customers, the WhatsApp connection, or third parties. Where it is practical, we will explain why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
When access ends, the workspace stops being served and we delete information as described in the retention section of the privacy policy. Some billing, tax, and abuse-prevention records may be kept for longer where the law allows or requires it.
Payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law survive the end of this agreement.
11 / disclaimers and liability
What we are responsible for
Cloud is provided “as is” and “as available”, and it is beta software. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that messages and attachments will always be delivered or retained. WhatsApp's systems are outside our control.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or lost messages and business records. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Cloud service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the three months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing removes consumer rights that apply where you live.
You are responsible for claims and costs that arise from your use of the service, the conversations your team handles, and your breach of these terms.
12 / changes, governing law, and contact
How this agreement changes
We may update these terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. A new version appears here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give notice by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cloud after that means you accept the update; if you do not accept it, cancel before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, unless the mandatory law where you live says otherwise. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring the claim somewhere else.
If one provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms still apply. These terms, the privacy policy, and the plan details shown at checkout are the whole agreement between us. We may transfer this agreement as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the service; you may not transfer it without our written agreement.
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. YGNCodeLab LLC is the company that operates WATeamInbox and WATeamInbox Cloud.
